Making a Bed
1. Why do we need to know how to make an unoccupied and occupied bed?
 -We need to know the the procedure on how to make an unoccupied and an occupied bed so that, when the time comes that a patient is in pain, or whenever he/she needs rest, we know how to prepare the bed without harming, or disturbing the patient.

2. How does making a bed help in the fast recovery of our patient?

3. As a good home nurse, how will you be able to render your services to your patient through bed making?


 Bathing the Patient
1. Why do you need to give a bath to the patient?

2. What are the materials needed for bed bath or sponge bath?

3. What’s the importance of using a urinal or bedpan?

1.  If you are a good home nurse, what are the various home nursing techniques that you need to apply that will make the patient feel comfortable and speed up the recovery?
I should give the patient the right treatment, keep the room clean as possible, and clean to be pleasing to the eye.

2.  Why should the home nurse monitor the vital signs of the patient?
To know what the patient needs in next hours, the dose of medicine, etc.
3.  How do you take the body temperature, pulse rate, respiratory rate and blood pressure of the patient?
By using a thermometer, etc.
4.  What are some practices that the home nurse must follow that will
           promote comfort to the patient?
Being attentive,cheerful, clean, etc.
5.  How will you differentiate signs from symptoms of illnesses and
           diseases?

6.  If you are the doctor, what will be your basis in giving the diagnosis for your patient?

 I have learned several things in the act of apprehending the topic of home nursing. I have seen that my classmates and I have the capabilities and true desire to become a nurse, or even a doctor someday. I have seen that our teacher preparing and teaching us the right way of preparing a occupied and an unoccupied bed, and we l;earned how to calm a patient while preparing it. I hope that I can help in my family someday whenever someone gets a disease or an illness.




2. How does proper administering of medicines help our patients in their recovery?
It helps the patient in the most explicit way as possible because medicine can help cure patients in a fast time(sometimes not) due to the nutrients, and the effects of it will be good ones.
Health care to the individual, to the family and to the community is important because it can help the individual alleviate his pain or sickness. It can help the individual get better with technological advancements in medicine.Health care can save lives in many ways, such as the use of medicine, the right or proper treatments, etc.
