Good afternoon y'all! With the exams fast approaching (well, for the High School, to be exact), I need to study for it without distractions. But for now, with the laptop in my desk, I should do this as quickly yet, as informative it can be. Experiences in the JAM 2012 and Ateneo Fiesta 2012 are extravagant. Why? AdZU HS hosted the biggest Ateneo athletics meet in the nation. AdMU, AdDU, Sacred Heart, Xavier Univ, AdNU, and of course the host school, AdZU participated in 3 days of thrilling days of sports. Too bad our other sister schools of Ateneo de Iloilo, Xavier School, and I forgot the other one, didn't make it. But still, celebrating JAM in AdZU is at the right, perfect moment. For this year, 2012, we go back in time in 1912, were AdZU was born (not yet a university at that time though, and it was only for grade school). The centennial ateneo fiesta is the highlight of this this school year. Extravagant performances from the different courses, departments, or what have you. It was fun filled, especially the HS night, when I danced with her. :> BOOM!
The thing that I didn't slightly liked about JAM, is that the athletes are all males. We and my gang were expecting female volleyball players from AdMU, such as Gretchen Ho, to be here. So that we will be the first in line for pictures and autographs. So anyway, HAHAHA! One word to describe this events, Oh wait, it took me a paragraph and not a single word to describe this extravagant events. ;-)

Just another requirement passin' by.
So, because the due is later. I'm gonna do this fast as flash. So, for covering the drawing book, I didn't do it along with my classmates because I was sick, and I did it the following week with an extension coming from ma'am Tuangco. And I was happy to see it covered all by myself. Designing the first page challenged my creativity skills. I made cut-out letters from magazines to form my name, and I got to add some little spice to it. The SHAPES. Honestly, it's a piece of cake. It's all easy. But for the expanding shapes, it took me a long time to finish it.

Free hand writing :-)
Dandandandan! My artwork, my creation(I'm not really the creator of Homer though), my masterpiece, and I'm proud of it. So, how did this marvelous creation (well, for me) happened? Well, one day, Ma'am Tuangco told us to make a free hand writing, or a drawing on your inspiration. It was hard for me to draw my inspiration, for my inspirations are hard to interpret and maybe it won't be understood by my other classmates, and because I'm not that good of a drawer(Yes, I'm not ALAYER). But then, a friend of mine showed me his drawing, and he told me to do Homer Simpson, because he also drew a famous cartoon character. And I asked myself, "Why should I draw Homer Simpson?", and it came into my mind that Homer had several quotes on success, even though they're added with something nonsense, but still I can still understand the message of it. So, that's how this marvelous creation of mine came into a reality, thanks the the words of wisdom of Homer J. Simspon.

These things called WEBSCRIPTING and JAVASCRIPTING
As the second quarter finally draws to a close, the third quarter will be more different than the previous two quarters.
For the second part of our 2nd year HS journey, we will step away from
the keyboard, and we will be taught every basic elements in handicraft. An all I can say is, that I'm gonna miss the COMLAB sessions. Sessions that filled us with difficulty, pressure, and yet, at the same time, happiness.
The lessons in the second quarter were really difficult, and I'm not
only talking about "difficult-difficult", I'm talking about WEBSCRIPTING
AND JAVASCRIPTING! Yet, it's not easy as it looks. But, if you have an excellent
TLE teacher, it won't sound difficult at all, and at the end, you'll
have fun doing it and you'll go on w/ the flow and find javascripting
easy as a "piece of cake". My experiences in javascripting and webscripting are mixed. I can say from a scale of 1 to 10, my performance rate, I think it's around at 7. But hey, javascripting isn't that easy.
First, I had to be familiar with the basic and also the advanced HTML
codes and commands, which were taught to us during the first quarter,
and we must learn on how to encode it in Notepad. And this is where I get some difficulties.
Because, you need to be sure in what you're encoding in notepad, and
you have to be 100 percent positive that you're encoding the codes in
the CORRECT order.
So even the smallest of mistakes will be a mistake in your final
output, when you'll open the file with either Google Chrome or Mozilla
Firefox. So, to sum this short blog all up, my javascript experience was a memorable one. In fact, it's memorable for me and with mixed emotions. From calm during the practice for javascripting, and some sort of a panic-state during the hands-on quizzes.
But this was something I took seriously, for it's not only for my
second quarter grades, but this lesson will be with me 'til I grow up to
be a mature adult and teach this marvelous lesson to the kids (and my
future kids) the importance of webscripting and javascripting and what
are the advantages of it if you can learn this.
